Keith McGarry, the Senior Partner in SportsLawNI brings a wealth of experience as a solicitor and an acomplished sportsman to his position. SportsLawNI is a is a wholly owned subsidiary of Conn & Fenton Solicitors, the practice where Keith has been a partner since 2001.
Unique in Northern Ireland in having passed the specialist law qualification LLM in Sports Law and Practice at De Montfort University (Distinction)-2011, Keith brings the experience, knowledge and proven ability in delivering sports law solutions.
Keith brings a strong level of analytic thinking to his job. His wide legal experience, including acting as a solicitor advocate, enables him to develop and present cases in a cogent and persuasive manner, making sure that all the key points are uncovered and delivered. He is also a trained mediator and looks for the opportunity to find agreed solutions.
Keith has also remained at the cutting edge of sport in Northern Ireland. His distinguished rugby career saw him play for Ulster, while he also has a golf handicap of one.
Keith applies the same diligence and analysis to all his activities and is a keen participant in the administration of the sports that he plays including:

His involvement with rugby continues through coaching the New Forge Taggers R.F.C. Special Needs Rugby Club, as part of a wider interest in disabled sport.
